Resorts World Genting has reopened yesterday after temporary suspension of its operations due to the movement control order (MCO).
On its website, Resorts World Genting (RWG) issued a notice announcing they are reopening at 6pm, 16th February with adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP).
Not all attractions and facilities will resume operations, though, as businesses within RWG have adjusted their business hours, limited availability or temporarily closed.
Here’s what’s open at RWG:
- Genting Grand Hotel
- Genting Casino
- Genting Club
- Genting Club Private Gaming
- Malaysian Food Street (MFS)
- Seasons
- 360 Bar
- L’titude
Do note that the gaming and casino areas are open to GRC members only.
Additionally, guests can now make reservations for future stays at the resort.
We will continue to fully adhere to the strict SOPs issued by the government throughout the resort and we seek our guests’ cooperation to do the same. The safety and health of all our guests and employees remain our utmost priority.

According to The Star, Genting Malaysia Bhd also reopened Resorts World Awana on the same day. The group said Resorts World Kijal in Terengganu and Resorts World Langkawi in Kedah will resume operations on 19 February.
The reopening is in line with the relaxation of the MCO as Pahang, Kedah and Terengganu will be placed under Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) from 19 February.
