Most of the country is under the Movement Control Order (MCO) or the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), which means that we still cannot travel interstate freely unless you have obtained permission from the police.
However, for those who do need to travel interstate, PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) has announced that all of its rest and service areas (R&R) will stay open for highway users.
For states under the CMCO (Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Perak, Kedah, and Terengganu), food courts and stalls at R&Rs will be open from 6am until 12 midnight, while those under the MCO (Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Johor, and Penang) will be open from 6am until 10pm.
Other facilities such as the restrooms and suraus will be open for 24 hours.

In line with the CMCO SOPs, the revised operational hours and seating capacity is based on table size will make it more convenient for highway customers who are traveling with families or working groups to have a meal together.

He hopes that the move will improve business and footfall for their stall operators and business partners during this time.
Additionally, cleanliness and hygiene will be prioritized with strict adherence to SOPs.
Customers can also download the PLUS App to find helpful features to facilitate their journey planning on the highway with the latest traffic updates, live CCTV feeds at critical locations on the highway and an SOS button to request for assistance in the event of emergencies.
