Malaysians who seek to upskill themselves this year now have over 200 free online courses to select from on the Human Resources Development Fund’s (HRDF) brand new e-learning hub.

Known as e-LATiH, this platform allows Malaysians to equip themselves with a myriad of new skills with courses such as Blockchain for Business, Adobe Illustrator, Data Science For Beginners and even Etsy 101: Launch Your Handmade Shop.

In a statement, Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M Saravanan said that this initiative was crafted to encourage Malaysians to adopt learning and knowledge acquisition as part of their everyday routine.

Malaysians have to continue to strive in a world that has become exceedingly competitive, pointing out that only those who prepare for the future are setting a foundation for future success.

What courses are available?

This initiative is a collaborative effort between HRDF and Go1, one of the largest international e-learning non-profit aggregators.

Malaysians can access over 200 industry-driven training courses via 12 categories as follows:

  1. Personal Development
  2. Project Management
  3. Leadership
  4. Digitisation
  5. Marketing & Innovation
  6. Programming
  7. Sustainability
  8. Financial Skills
  9. Languages
  10. Customer Service
  11. Industry Specific
  12. Health and Safety

The courses are conducted in English but HRDF plans to add more content in the coming weeks in various languages including Bahasa Malaysia.

e-LATiH is available to all Malaysians, especially job seekers who are looking to learn new skills to secure employment.

It’s open to all Malaysians for a whole year from 6th February 2021 to 5th February 2022.
