Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says that the current movement control order will not be lifted on 28 June but instead will continue in line with the National Recovery Plan.
This means that Malaysia will remain in phase one of the National Recovery Plan until daily cases dip below 5,000 cases per day, 10% of the population is vaccinated, and the condition of the healthcare system is no longer critical.
Meanwhile, according to Bernama, Muhyiddin also said that the government will announce additional financial assistance within the next two days.
