It wasn’t enough that we suddenly got a new Deputy Prime Minister without so much as a “by the way”, Malaysians woke up this morning to a rude shock as UMNO announced, in the middle of the night, that they will be withdrawing support from the current government.
As most of the country (sans insomniacs) peacefully slumbered as this was happening, it taught an important lesson: politics never sleeps.
