31 Members of Parliament (MPs) have declared that they will support the government led by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

In a press conference headed by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, he said that the MPs will follow Agong’s decision for current government to continue and a vote to be carried out in September.

He said that whether or not the current government will continue after September, that’s up to the vote in Parliament.

Ismail Sabri also said that the Istana will no longer receive any Statutory Declarations (SDs).

He also mentioned that previously there were a lot of issues arising regarding their members’ stance on whether to support the government, prompting them to come out and state their stance.
