It seems there’s a group which has issued a petition to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to pardon convicted Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak from his previous and current court cases.

MalaysiaKini reported that the association – Pertubuhan Sahabat Ulul Amri Malaysia (PSUAM) has given their support so that Najib could be the caretaker Prime Minister.

Its chairman Syed Muhammad Imran S N Syed Abdul Aziz mentioned that the Former Prime Minister is one of the “Big Four” of Pahang and added that it’s an opportunity to save the country.

They also feel that the Pekan MP consistently advised the government on how to manage the economy and the welfare of the people.

When contacted by MalaysiaKini on the matter, Najib’s spokesperson said they were not aware of the matter.
