Prime Minister Tan Sri Mahiaddin Md Yasin today (8 August) announced benefits and freedoms for Malaysians who have completed their Covid-19 vaccination.

An individuals is considered to have completed their vaccination:

  • 14 days after they have completed their two-dose Covid-19 vaccination. (Pfizer, AstraZeneca, dan Sinovac)
  • 28 days after receiving a one dose Covid- 19 vaccination. (Johnson & Johnson dan CanSino)

Perks

These perks will be available to all individual who has been vaccinated and has a Digital Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate in all Phases of the PPN starting Tuesday, 10 August, 2021.

Quarantine and Travel

  • Travelers from outside Malaysia can quarantine at home.
  • Long distance couples, that have been vaccinated may cross state lines.
  • Parents can cross state and area lines can meet their children under 18-years old.
  • Prayers are permitted at masjids and suraus for those who are vaccinated in all phases with SOP.
  • Must show digital vaccination certification
  • Domestic tourism within the same state is allowed with digital Covid-19 vaccination certificate

Social

  • Cross country and district is allowed with digital Covid-19 vaccination certification.
  • Dine-in is allowed
  • Prepare more outside sitting for dine-ins.
  • Ensure those who are dining in must show digital Covid-19 vaccination certificate.

Religion

  • Prayers are permitted at Masjids and Suraus for those who are vaccinated in all phases with SOP.
  • Must show digital vaccination certification
  • Also for non-Muslims
  • Up to religion organisation

For couples with children 17 years-old and younger must ensure their children follow SOP.

Sports and recreation

  • Non-contact activities are allowed, with SOP and if done outdoors.
  • Dine-in at clubhouses are allowed in line with the previously mentioned dine-in guidelines.
  • Changing rooms remain closed.
