The new Cabinet is expected to be sworn into duty by the YDPA on Monday.
During his speech today, the PM said that the new Cabinet would be a fast and united one that would work to bring Malaysia out of the current economic, political and public health crisis brought by the Covid-19 crisis.

Ismail Sabri’s Cabinet stands similar in comparison to the previous one formed by former PM Tan Sri Mahiaddin Md Yasin – 70 Ministers in total.
Mahiaddin’s Cabinet was noted to be the largest one Malaysia has ever had and the first of its kind to have no Deputy Prime Minister.
However, Ismail Sabri was later appointed as the DPM on 21 July while retaining his post as the Defence Minister.
Mahiaddin and his Cabinet effectively resigned on 16 August after just 17 months in power following political turmoil.
