Just last month ASUS announced the new ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition (GA401QEC) laptop.

Today ASUS have announced the full specifications and price of the laptop that is going to be sold in Malaysia. 

Here is what you get for RM7,999.

The specifications look solid, but note the lack of a webcam and the premium price for the extra branding.

There’s Also A Bag

Meanwhile, ASUS also announced the ROG SLASH Sling Bag, an everyday carry bag for those who wants to wear their allegiance to the ROG.

The bag is made of water repellent polyester thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and polyurethane (PU), while the inside is lined with 40D nylon.

Hardware includes an adjustable shoulder strap with a snap hook, and a stainless steel buckle.

The bag itself weighs 560g and has a 3-litre capacity with one zipper and two quick access pockets.

That’s more than half a kilo for relatively a small space.

It would not fit the laptop. However we estimate that this bag is big enough for a gimbal, a wallet, a bottle of hand sanitizer, and a smartphone in one of the quick access pockets, with room to spare.

As for keys, perhaps we can put it on a carabiner and hook it onto the loop at the end of the shoulder strap to prevent it from scratching anything in the bag.

Overall, it looks like an on brand solution for anyone who likes to bring their tech with them everywhere they go. It looks good too.

The ROG SLASH Sling Bag is expected to launch at the end of September and is priced at RM399.
