142 areas in Klang and Petaling will face unscheduled water cuts due to a water pipe which broke earlier this afternoon, 25 January.

Construction work was being done on Federal Highway when the water pipe was damaged, says Air Selangor.

Air Selangor has immediately begun repair work on the pipe, and expects the repair to be completed by 3am 27 January. Water services will resume in stages after that.

Water tanks will be mobilised in key areas so that residents will still have water to use.
