If you felt like the whole building was shaking this morning, it’s because you were feeling the aftershocks from an earthquake in Sumatra, Indonesia.

According to BKMG Indonesia, the earthquake measured 6.2 on the Richter scale and no tsunami threat. METMalaysia confirms this.

Tremors felt in several areas

The tremors were felt in several areas across Malaysia. People near Menara Boustead were evacuated from the buildings nearby.
