A man was found dead with gunshot wounds on the head near the Sungai Jarom police station in Kuala Langat on Thursday, 18 May.

Kuala Langat OCPD Superintendent Ahmad Ridhwan Mohd Nor@Saleh said a volunteer policeman on sentry duty at 11.30pm heard sounds of loud explosions near the police station.

Upon checking the sound, the policeman found the bleeding man on the road shoulder. A medical officer from the Telok Panglima Garang clinic confirmed the victim’s death at the scene.

According to Malay Mail, the 39-year-old victim had a criminal record with 13 prior offences.

Forensics officers located five bullet casings near the crime scene. Checks on the body showed four gunshot wounds to the head.

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
