On 29 March around 11.20pm, two 19-year-old cousins were killed when they crashed into a lorry tanker that was making a U-turn in Tanjung Malim.
The cousins, Mimi Nurwaheeda and Nur Nabila, were riding on a motorcycle together along KM121 of Jalan Ipoh-Kuala Lumpur near Kampung Kelawar.
According to the police statement, the cousins travelled from Ulu Bernam towards Slim River. The lorry driver continued driving southbound after making the U-turn.

The police managed to nab the 30-year-old lorry driver on 14 April around 11.55pm near the Simpang Ampat toll plaza in Melaka.
The man confessed to causing the accident and also sent in a 24-hour resignation notice to his company on 30 March, a day after the incident.
The lorry was seized in Kerling, Selangor, and police found damages and chipped paint on it.
Muallim OCPD Superintendent Mohd Hasni Mohd Nasir said the driver tested negative for illegal substances.
