When it comes to scam calls, most of us have received calls from the fake Inland Revenue Board (LHDN), banks, and government agencies.
However, there seems to be a new “caller” joining the fray. This recent scam call typically happens over on Whatsapp and the caller’s profile picture often shows a picture of a beautiful young woman.
These images are likely to be stolen images and there’s no answer if you called the number back.
Netizens have complained about the same issues after receiving missed calls from these numbers. Those who received these calls are annoyed because the calls keep coming minutes apart.
A few netizens managed to get a hold of these scammers and it was revealed that one of them posed as a recruiter.
Another scam caller claimed they found the phone numbers on the job search site, Jobstreet.
Since the calls are incessant, netizens advised everyone to block these numbers just to be safe and to make it harder for scammers to contact them.

I've called back all 3 numbers on whatsapp. No one picked up.

For those of you who received these calls, report and block their number as spam. Make it harder for the spammer to register a new phone number. pic.twitter.com/JjhRaIIA6x
